Discover A Treasure in Every Shell

On line and on the street, consumers were asked to discover a treasure by trying out Sony Ericsson's latest camera phone, the Z500, and possibly win a treasure of their own with a $25,000 shopping spree at Metreon in San Francisco.

Banner advertising on Yahoo! and street team activity lead consumers to www.rucingular.com/z500 where they could try out the features of the Z500 with an interactive mobile phone demo. Once a demo was completed, consumers were automatically entered into the sweepstakes and alerted if they won an instant Sony electronics prize.

Alpha Marketing managed the overall program for Sony Ericsson and Cingular including writing of all program rules and logistical management of instant win prizes on the web. We designed and produced all online advertising and collateral to support the program. Alpha also developed all website creative which Cingular hosted on their site.

As a result, all targets for impressions and demo views/sweepstakes entries were exceeded.
